I'm sure there's a better way to spell that, but we're headed to a trade show tomorrow early morning and there's nothing better than a deadline to focus our attention and make us productive. So here's how we define the last few days 'umphf':• NEW WEBSITE: our website will change later this evening to a dramatically different look and navigational system. If you encounter any problems using it, just give us a call. We have everything stored in a non-internet environment and can work around any issues with a simple phone discussion.• PENDING CONTEST: this Sunday night, we're planning a second change to our website: we're going to introduce a photo contest in which people can submit pictures of their vehicles to us (the pictures must include a Steinjäger decal on the vehicle). Anyone who submits a picture to us (within the contest guidelines) will get a $25 store coupon. Visitors will be able to vote on their favorite vehicle photos and once per month we'll give a $500 store credit to whichever vehicle gets the most visitors. Once the contest is 'live' there will be a link on our home page called, 'Photo Contest', that will have the full rules, voting system, etc. We think this will be a lot of fun since every entrant will win $25 and we'll get to see a bunch of fun vehicles in action (with our logos on them!)• JK WRANGLER END LINKS: We introduced a new series of quick disconnect end links to fit the JK Wranglers. We have them for a variety of lift heights, but as an example, for the 2.5" to 5" lift range, our J0030555 has an MSRP price of $74.32. A special thanks to our rogue engineers on the forums who guided us in the right direction. (What's a 'rogue engineer'? We're working on that definition... we'll get back to you in a few weeks).• POLARIS RZR HIGH CLEARANCE KIT: The J0030560 came out this week. It fits the Polaris RZR XP1000 2013-2014 models and is a high clearance radius rod kit. This kit uses DOM tubes, and chrome moly heims and has an MSRP of $280.17. We also have a chrome moly tube kit and a number of new designs in the hopper.• POLY BUSHINGS: We molded our first polyurethane products this first week. The first one is for a magnetic gun support / holder device (see below). We also molded our first poly bushings for 4 link bush kits. We also molded the first prototype poly housings for our rebuildable rod ends. That's right! We're coming out with a 45° family of rebuildable rod ends - probably in September.• POLY GUN MAGNETS: If you've ever been hunting and wanted a place to rest your unloaded gun besides your tailgate, truck body, or tire, you'll love these great magnetic devices. We've encased a high strength magnet in polyurethane. These are also great organizers for metal gun cabinets. We even have used them to site guns (they're just very handy). We're pleased to announce our pricing on the J0030180 just dropped from $349.04 to $221.68. Why the drop? Our volumes are taking off on this kit and the subcomponent costs for the tubes have improved. These tubes are cut, welded and powder coated in the USA. This Rear Radius Rod kit is designed to fit the Polaris RZR 2014 1000 XP and includes four DOM tubes, eight chrome moly rod ends, and bushings for a 10mm mount.

Mustang Adjustable Lower Control Arms

We are pleased to announce the newest addition to our product line up for the Ford Mustang. The J0030512, with an MSRP of $175.87, is a set of lower adjustable control arms for the 1979-2004 Ford Mustang. The control arms are made with chrome moly rod ends, chrome moly thread bungs, and powder coated DOM tubing. The rod ends come with attaching hardware, spacers, and rubber face seals for the rod ends. This is a great value at $175.87 per set.

Our end link kits come as standard, quick disconnect, for varying lift heights, including stock, with and without the rear sway bar. Here are a few direct links. Jeep JK Wrangler Magnetic Drop-In Mirror

J0029732: We're excited about our drop-in magnetic mirror for Jeep JK Wranglers. This patent-pending design can be installed in less than two minutes. We posted a video on our youtube channel. And for the JK latch, J0029523.Between the snows and the new Jeep mirror designs this week, we've also had a few team meetings to work on some pending new Mazda and Miata sway bars, as well as some more brainstorming on Jeep JK designs. The craziest discovery this week is that we should be molding our own polyurethane bushings. We're going to be installing a new molding machine in April and hope to introduce our first designs mid-summer. The sponsoring project... not quite a secret anymore... is a very broad line of rebuildable rod ends. Our rebuildable rod ends won't be just a 'me too' design. These are going to be Steinjäger tough, will have great misalignment angles 40° minimum, with multiple sizes at 45°, and with a special added feature that we haven't seen before (but that part is a secret).Visit Steinjäger: More and more customers are bringing vehicles and parts to us. It's almost a daily occurrence now that someone either brings us a vehicle or sends us a part. We're not an install shop - we're a design center and a manufacturing facility, but the vehicle is the best way for us to quickly do a design. As mentioned above, we were working on sway bar designs yesterday - four of them simultaneously (not bad for a few hours work). If you are within a day's drive and can spare your vehicle for a day, let us know. Anything we come out with you get one set for free and a huge discount on future orders of that product. If you want to send a part to us, it's far better if it's an existing performance part - it's somewhat more difficult to reverse engineer a stock part without the vehicle present.

This is sure to please the performance aftermarket enthusiasts since it is both a new approach, and a very cost effective one.
