Coped Tube Adaptors

There's never a dull day at Steinjäger! This new invention, original to Steinjäger, eliminates the need to cope your tube. Instead, you can weld in this chrome moly coped tube adaptor which in turn can be welded to a rebuildable rod end, tubular bushing, or one of our poly bushing kits. The part number description gives the size of bushing it will receive, and the tube size into which the adaptor can be welded. For example, the CTA-B40-T18083 accepts a bushing (B) of size '40' (40 divided by 16 = 2.50" OD). The tubing (T) into which this can be welded is 1.125 x 0.083 wall (the first two numbers are divided by 16 to calc OD, the last 3 numbers are the wall). These sizes are now in stock: CTA-B40-T18083, CTA-B40-T20120, CTA-B40-T22096, CTA-B40-T24120, CTA-B40-T28120, CTA-B40-T28250 - a total of 56 sizes should be in stock by late fall.
Rebuildable 'Cartridge' Poly Rod Ends

Over the last six months we have floated a few news items amongst our dealers that we were working on a rebuildable cartridge style polyurethane rod end. We are pleased to announce that we have finished our first prototypes and should have a pre-release of product in early September, with full production available by November. Our rebuildable cartridge poly rod ends, or 'High Misaligning Polyurethane Race Rod End Bearings' as we like to call them, will feature a universal housing, race, snap ring and washers. Interchangeable balls and inserts will provide 11 different bore and width combinations, increasing your product availability, while decreasing the need to stock much inventory. The ends will be made available as welded female, or welded male designs, as well as 'neutral'. We will also make the male studs, female housings, and our new neutral coped tube adaptors also available. Misalignment angles will be 45°. We mold the polyurethane race in our factory here in the USA, giving us key control over the critical component of the assembly. These rebuildable rod ends are going to be priced to sell and will give Steinjäger the broadest offering of suspension joints of anyone anywhere: heim joints, poly bushing ends, and rebuildable cartridge rod ends will now all be available from the same company who is also manufacturing push-pull cables, tube doors, 4 link kits, long arm kits, foot pegs, mirrors, stingers, control arms, ladder bars, panhard bars... you get the picture!
Tube Doors for JK Wrangler - Prototypes

Our first production run of Tube Doors to fit the JK Wrangler will be done sometime mid-August. This photo was taken of our prototypes BEFORE we powder coated them, and before the locks and mirrors were installed. Our Tube Doors for the TJ, part# J0029673, are already available and have been in production since November 2013. All of our Tube Doors to fit the Wranglers are made by us in the USA.

I'm sure there's a better way to spell that, but we're headed to a trade show tomorrow early morning and there's nothing better than a deadline to focus our attention and make us productive. So here's how we define the last few days 'umphf':• NEW WEBSITE: our website will change later this evening to a dramatically different look and navigational system. If you encounter any problems using it, just give us a call. We have everything stored in a non-internet environment and can work around any issues with a simple phone discussion.• PENDING CONTEST: this Sunday night, we're planning a second change to our website: we're going to introduce a photo contest in which people can submit pictures of their vehicles to us (the pictures must include a Steinjäger decal on the vehicle). Anyone who submits a picture to us (within the contest guidelines) will get a $25 store coupon. Visitors will be able to vote on their favorite vehicle photos and once per month we'll give a $500 store credit to whichever vehicle gets the most visitors. Once the contest is 'live' there will be a link on our home page called, 'Photo Contest', that will have the full rules, voting system, etc. We think this will be a lot of fun since every entrant will win $25 and we'll get to see a bunch of fun vehicles in action (with our logos on them!)• JK WRANGLER END LINKS: We introduced a new series of quick disconnect end links to fit the JK Wranglers. The first one is for a magnetic gun support / holder device (see below). We also molded our first poly bushings for 4 link bush kits. We also molded the first prototype poly housings for our rebuildable rod ends. That's right! We're coming out with a 45° family of rebuildable rod ends - probably in September.• POLY GUN MAGNETS: If you've ever been hunting and wanted a place to rest your unloaded gun besides your tailgate, truck body, or tire, you'll love these great magnetic devices. We've encased a high strength magnet in polyurethane. These are also great organizers for metal gun cabinets. We even have used them to site guns (they're just very handy). We're pleased to announce our pricing on the J0030180 just dropped from $349.04 to $221.68. Why the drop? Our volumes are taking off on this kit and the subcomponent costs for the tubes have improved. These tubes are cut, welded and powder coated in the USA. This Rear Radius Rod kit is designed to fit the Polaris RZR 2014 1000 XP and includes four DOM tubes, eight chrome moly rod ends, and bushings for a 10mm mount.
