The ACE JK Stand Alone Tire Carrier is a great solution for those who want to run a larger tire, but don't necessarily want to change their rear bumper. It's a single-handed operation carrier that includes dual RotopaX mounts that double as stabilizers for your tire. Plus, they work whether you have RotopaX on or not.
The carrier is rated for up to a 38" tire and works with both stock and many aftermarket bumpers. It is also available with an optional Hi-Lift Jack Mount.

Although installation instructions are important on all of our products, on this one in particular, a failure to follow the guidelines exactly, and in particular with regard to setting the linkage will result in premature failure of the snubber as well as premature wear on the hinge assembly. Regular maintenance (i.e. 5000 miles) to check the alignment and linkage is required.
