Universal Rod End Misalignment Inserts For 1 inch Rod Ends Straight Style Yields 5/8 Bore Stainless 4 Pack
Quantity Per Package: This package includes four bushings (enough for two spherical rod ends). This item does not include the spherical rod end.
Product Name: High Misalignment Insert Bushing
Fits Rod End Bore Size of: 1"
Bore Size of Insert: 5/8"
Material: Stainless Steel
Length of Bushing After Installation: Each bushing adds 0.809" of width to the rod end, or 1.618" overall (because two bushings are required per rod end).
Diameter of Flare: 1.500"
Common Other Names for this Product: heim joint bushings, tapered rod end spacers, rod end inserts.
Application: High Misalignment Bushings are used to increase the misalignment angle of a spherical rod end bearing. Two High Misalignment Bushings are required for each spherical rod end bearing. The high misalignment inserts are a simple slip fit. These bushings provide for more clearance so the bolt head does not minimize the natural cone angle of the spherical rod end bearing.
Typical Mating Part: These bushings are commonly used in conjunction with our MXM-16 chrome moly spherical rod end bearing, and our STM-16 stainless steel teflon race spherical rod end bearing. They can also be used with some spherical plain bearings, and most 1" bore i.d. spherical rod ends - male or female.
Metric Alternative: The metric equivalent to this series is our HMBSS-M series.
